Sitepromptr

Terms of Service

Last updated 10 September 2026

Written in plain English by the people who build Sitepromptr, not by a solicitor. It says what we actually do. If you need a formal agreement for your own clients, get your own advice.

1. Who this is between

These terms are between you and Sitepromptr, the service at sitepromptr.com. Using the service means you accept them. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you are confirming you may do so.

There is no minimum age. Sitepromptr is a tool for building websites and anybody who wants to build one is welcome to.

Paying is the one part that is not up to us. A subscription is a contract and our payment provider requires the person holding the account to be old enough to enter one, which in most places means 18. If you are younger than that, the account and the card have to belong to a parent, a guardian or whoever runs the business.

2. What Sitepromptr does

You describe a local business and Sitepromptr writes a website for it using AI. You can edit that site by talking to the builder, publish it at a sitepromptr.com address, and download it as a folder you can host anywhere.

It is built for resellers: freelancers and agencies who build sites for other businesses. The site you generate is yours to sell to your client.

3. AI writes the sites, and you are responsible for checking them

This is the most important clause here, so it is near the top.

Every site is written by an AI model. It can be wrong. It can describe services a business does not offer, or word something in a way the owner would not. Sitepromptr checks each site mechanically before it is shown to you, and it is built never to invent a phone number, an email address or a street address, but no automated check catches everything.

You must read a site before you publish it or sell it to a client. Once you publish or hand over a site, its content is yours. We are not responsible for what a generated site says about your client’s business.

4. Who owns what

You own the sites you generate. You can edit them, sell them, charge whatever you like for them, and keep the money. We claim no rights over them and take no cut.

We own Sitepromptr itself: the builder, the software, the name and the look of the product. Nothing here gives you a right to copy it or to resell access to it.

We may use anonymous, aggregated information about how the service is used to improve it. We do not use your business descriptions or your generated sites to advertise, and we do not sell them.

5. Credits

Work is charged in credits, not sites. Keeping a finished site costs nothing. What costs money is the AI writing or changing one, so that is what a credit buys.

Generating a site costs 10 credits. A chat message that changes the site costs 2. One that only answers a question costs 1. Publishing, rolling back, connecting a domain and downloading a site are all free.

Your plan grants a number of credits at the start of each billing period. Unused credits do not roll over. They are replaced by the new period’s allowance, not added to.

If a generation fails and no site was saved, the credits are refunded automatically. Credits are not otherwise refundable and have no cash value.

6. Paying, and cancelling

Paid plans are monthly subscriptions taken through Stripe. They renew automatically until you cancel. Prices are shown before you subscribe and include any tax we are required to charge.

Cancel any time from the billing page. Cancelling stops the next renewal. You keep your credits and your sites until the end of the period you have paid for.

We do not refund part of a period. If something on our side went wrong, email us and we will sort it out.

We may change prices. If we do, we will tell you by email at least 30 days before it affects you, and you can cancel before then.

7. Hosting your clients' sites

A published site is served at a sitepromptr.com subdomain for as long as your account is active. If your subscription ends, sites you have published may stop being served.

This is why every site can be downloaded as a plain folder of files that works on any host, with the images copied into it. If your client’s site matters to their business, download it and put it somewhere you control. We recommend doing that on the day you hand a site over.

We do our best to keep the service up, and we do not promise any particular uptime.

8. What you may not do

You agree not to:

  • build sites for a business you do not represent and have no permission to represent
  • generate content that is illegal, deceptive, hateful, or designed to impersonate a real person or organisation
  • use the service for phishing, fake shops, fake reviews, or anything intended to mislead someone into paying or giving up information
  • script, scrape or otherwise automate the generation endpoints, or try to get around credit limits or rate limits
  • resell access to the underlying AI, as opposed to selling the websites you make with it
  • share one account between people who should each have their own

We can suspend or close an account that does any of this, and we can remove a published site. Where we reasonably can, we will tell you first and give you a chance to put it right.

9. Ending it

You can delete your account at any time. Email us and we will remove your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

We can end your access if you break these terms, if payment fails repeatedly, or if we stop running the service. If we shut Sitepromptr down, we will give you reasonable notice and time to download your sites.

10. No warranty

Sitepromptr is provided as it is. We do not promise it will be free of faults, available without interruption, or that a generated site will suit any particular purpose.

11. Limits on liability

We are not liable for lost profits, lost business, lost data, or losses caused by a site you published without checking it.

Where liability cannot legally be excluded, ours is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow to be limited.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top says when they last changed. If a change materially affects you, we will email you before it takes effect. Carrying on using the service after that means you accept the new version.

13. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and its courts have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.

If any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still applies.
